Swansea City Association Football Club – known by its fans as ‘The Swans’ – is about to enjoy its fourth season in the Premiership and is the first Welsh team to have played at this level since the league was formed in since 1992. The Swans finished 12th last year, which makes them the most successful of all football clubs in Wales.
