Spencer Sport surpasses expectations in Northern Ireland

The Circuit of Ireland Rally – the second round of the MSA British and FIA European Rally Championships – took place on 8th & 9th April and saw the Spencer Sport team surpass its expectations. Tom Cave and co-driver James Morgan finished fourth in the BRC and sixth in the ERC in their Fiesta R5, whilst Jamie Jukes and Dave Williams brought their Mitsubishi Mirage home second in the BRC National Rally Cup.

It was a great start to the Spencer Sport team’s 2016 MSA British Rally Championship campaign on this weekend’s (5th & 6th) Mid Wales Stages, the opening round of the new-look BRC. Driving an R5 specification Mitsubishi, Osian Pryce and co-driver Dale Furniss became the first ever winners of the BRC National Rally Cup – finishing the event in an impressive fifth place overall – whilst Tom Cave and James Morgan kicked off their British Championship title challenge with an inspiring podium finish in the team’s R5 Fiesta.

Spencer ECA (Environmental Care Associates) is now accredited for RISQS, the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme.

This national qualification enables Spencer to offer its wide range of services to purchasers and contractors for work associated with Britain’s rail network. The company’s extensive experience of working with large construction and civil engineering organisations means that it is well placed to provide support to existing contractors and other well-established suppliers to the rail industry.
